Os vencedores do 30º Magnolia Awards foram anunciados em 27 de junho de 2025, marcando o encerramento oficial do Festival de Televisão de Xangai. A lista de indicados havia sido divulgada no dia anterior (26 de maio).
O Magnolia Awards (白玉兰奖) é considerado um dos prêmios mais prestigiados da televisão chinesa, que homenageia as melhores produções, artistas e criadores do ano anterior, celebrando a excelência em narrativa, atuação e produção chinesa. O prêmio leva o nome da flor magnólia, símbolo da cidade de Xangai, representando pureza, perseverança e nobreza – valores que refletem o espírito do evento.
A premiação ocorre dentro do Shanghai Television Festival (上海电视节) que é um dos eventos mais importantes e respeitados da indústria televisiva na China e na Ásia. Criado em 1986 na cidade de Xangai, o festival celebra a excelência em produções televisivas nacionais e internacionais anualmente, reunindo profissionais, criadores e executivos do setor.
Mais do que reconhecer talentos, a premiação têm como missão destacar obras que reflitam não apenas os grandes temas nacionais da China, mas também as transformações sociais, culturais e econômicas da China contemporânea.
A seleção oficial do Magnolia valoriza cdramas que retratam a vida com sensibilidade, ao mesmo tempo em que reforçam a imagem do país no cenário global. É uma celebração da televisão chinesa como ferramenta de conexão entre cultura, turismo, negócios e arte.
Com um olhar voltado para o futuro, o Magnolia Awards também busca fomentar a evolução da indústria audiovisual chinesa. Através de inovações estéticas e narrativas que tocam o público, o festival também desempenha um papel fundamental no fomento à cooperação global e à valorização da televisão como forma de arte e meio de intercâmbio cultural.
